We have an active a sometimes noisy Children's Church, held each Sunday during the sermon (after worship) for children aged 3-12, in the upper level of our church.
We also have an unsupervised nursery located next to the washrooms for use by parents of infants, where the service can still be watched on a closed circuit monitor.
On Friday's at noon, Pastor Scott holds a Men's Mentoring Group at the church. Men with Coffee also takes place each Thursday morning at the A&W Restaurant. All men are welcome to attend!
In addition, we will continue to have occasional Saturday Breakfasts and other events as they come up, as well as some service projects to help those in our church who need it.
We have an annual Ladies Retreat in September every year at Camp Arnes which is always a wonderful weekend of fellowship, singing, laughing, eating and also an adventure or two! Please contact Roxane if you would like more info.
Worship, or, Music Ministry is a big part of fellowship at MVCA. We are very blessed to have extremely talented musicians and singers leading on Sunday mornings. If you are an active member of MVCA and would like to come out and see what it is all about, Worship practice nights are every Thursday evening at 6:30 pm. If you would like to be a part of a music team, audio/visual team or a sound technician, you are invited to attend practices and get a feel for what takes place. We would love to have you!
Once a month there is a Fellowship Meal following the service, where everyone participates by signing up to bring food. There is usually a theme as well.
In addition to that, there is at least one other event monthly for people of all ages.
If you are a member of MVCA and would like to be a part of this team, please contact Tina Parsons!
Prayer is an integral part in the life of every believer. As such, every second Wednesday we have a time of specific corporate prayer. This is a safe place to present needs, but is also the time where we lift up the needs of our church, community and nation. if you would like to participate in praying for our church, our families, our community and our Nation, please consider coming out. If you are not fully comfortable with praying out loud but want to learn, then this is definitely the place for you. See the calendar page for specific dates. Contact Lydia Buhler for more info.
